Sign Our Petition to Oppose ULEZ Expansion - STOP THE TAX GRAB
Sadiq Khan, the Labour Mayor of London is planning to extend the ULEZ zone in London so that it comes right up to the boundary of Borough's such as Brentwood.
If you have a ULEZ non-compliant car then the Labour Mayor is going to charge you £12.50 per day to travel into the zone. This will include places a few miles away such as Queens Hospital at Romford and travelling to visit friends and family in Harold Hill or Upminster.
Brentwood Council has joined Essex County Council and voted to oppose the expansion of the zone and will not assist with the installation of any signage or cameras on land that it owns.
Sadly, local Liberal Democrats joined the Labour Party to abstain on the motion and failed to vote to support local drivers who will be badly affected by this wrong headed proposal.
If you would like to sign our petition which is being run across Greater London and the Homes Counties then go online at https://action.conservatives.com/stop-drivers-tax/
