£40,000 TO BE WASTED EACH YEAR ON ‘VANITY PROJECT' BY YOUR 
At the most recent ordinary council meeting, Conservative Councillors challenged the LibDem / Labour group running our Borough as to how much our council will have to pay each year to produce and distribute their new glossy magazine.
This glossy magazine is set to cost local taxpayers £120,000 over the next three years.
Residents will be shocked to hear that the budget to the council of two editions is £40,000. This, at a time when many residents are struggling to make ends meet and they will be rightly annoyed to see such a waste of taxpayers money on self-promotional material. We have been told that the 2nd edition is planned to be an even larger 16 page version and will be arriving in the next few months.
With your support a Conservative administration will immediately cease production of this vanity project and ensure that the money saved annually is spent to serve you better instead. The new Conservative group were hoping to make cost savings this year to ensure that council income was focused on the important services that really matter to you.
