Peter Jakobsson - Peter moved to Stondon Massey back in 1972. Peter was a chorister at Canterbury Cathedral as a child and today is an active member of the Hutton & Shenfield Choral Society.
Peter trained as electronics engineer and had the privilege of recording onto cassettes such groups as Abba, The Carpenters and Simon & Garfunkel for distribution across the world. In 1977 he joined the BBC and was responsible for managing a team of 40 staff who controlled the output of programmes being broadcast across the UK.
Peter served as Borough Councillor for Tipps Cross ward between 2019 and 2023.
Peter is a Trustee for the Brentwood & Ongar Conservative Association.
